2. Tent and Sleeping System
Alpine conditions are characterized by sharp temperature fluctuations. Even in summer, temperatures can approach freezing at night.
- Tent: Choose a 4-season tent that can withstand strong winds. Winds on the peaks of the Egrisi Range are often unpredictable.
- Sleeping Bag: Your sleeping bag should be rated for at least -5°C or -10°C.
- Inflatable Mattress: Insulation from the ground is just as important as the sleeping bag itself.
